Raving in London lacks luster, and the lack of quality men wants you want to go to the other side. Some Jamaican females need to chill and realise that raving is supposed to be fun…what?s the point of putting on a pretty dress and having a skin-up face at the same time. London guys need to step up their game…tell them a joke? How lame!

Bashment rave or not, I definitely feel hostility when I go raving, I’m in my mid twenties & really dread the thought of raving nowadays because of the negative atmosphere. The needless barging, attention seeking ladies, vulgar guys… I started raving from young & it never use to be like this. What happened?

Sorry about your run in with that rude woman but why mention her nationality and perpetrate a horrible stereotype.

Don’t get me wrong. I have been on the receiving end of hostility from all types of women — Jamaican, Nigerian, Kenyan, Finnish, English, Pakistani, etc. The thing is however I don’t mention their nationality when retelling the story as it’s pretty irrelevant.

I’m sorry your night was further ruined by that woman, I’ll apologise on her behalf…. but she probably sensed your hostility, besides, to me it definately sounded like a bashment rave…the dark lighting, the dancers, the whining and grinding, the Jamaicans… so what exactly were you expecting?? That IS what bashment ravers enjoy… you should have re-experimented your views elsewhere!

Sorry to hear about your ‘back-to-the-rave-scene’ experience Miss London particularly the Yardie ‘encounter’. Personally I havn’t danced all night like I used to due to health reasons but I often wonder what I’m missing – thanks for filling me in, though there are probably the odd exceptions to this experience?!!
