IT’S ALL GOOD IN THE HOOD

Hey readers, Comedienne Miss London here and you’re Lucky enough to be reading my first ever blog.

There were so many issues I wanted to get off my chest, from bus drivers not letting me on the bus after they saw me Usain Bolt for it! To Girls that leave their house in open toe sandals knowing full well their second toe is disgustingly longer than the big one! It’s wrong and its Nasty, you should feel shame!

But on a more serious note, I wanted to Blog about an issue that’s been irritating me for some years now, this whole concept of the hood, gang culture life on the metaphorical roadside and street life.

Please, wake up and smell the tarmac, no-one in England lives on the Street! Apart from trampy Frank who lives outside Tescos!  And a roadman is the guy that sweeps the streets after Carnival!

And can you please direct to me towards the hood because I’m pretty sure it’s in America!

I don’t get it, why do youth in today’s society feel the need to beg poverty?!
‘Ahhh I Live on the roads,’ ‘I’m on the grind!’ And ‘Life is Hard’.

No it aint! You live with your Mum, you’re unemployed and you don’t pay rent!…
You don’t live in the hood you live in an estate in Peckham with luxuries such as water, electricity and central heating! Compared to the hood you’re Ballin!!!!

For some reason, being ghetto is seen as cool and it disgusts me! I’m proud that I’m not ghetto!!… I’m so far from road I’m Pavement!

And its rappers like Giggs and music channels like Channel Aka that endorse this, and I think it’s pathetic

Ok fair enough, not everyone is born with a silver spoon in their mouth and some people are less fortunate than others, and people do sometimes have to work hard and struggle.

But be serious no-one has a reason to be on the grind and hustle! Especially when you get Job Seekers Allowance!

The Government practically pays you to sit on your ass all day and do nothing! And if that don’t work, then you can always get pregnant!!… The Government will get you a nice flat and help pay your rent, plus benefits! WOW…. life on the roads is really hard!

We need to stop following America!!  It’s all this pretend ghetto foolishness which is leading us to gun and knife crime…

This is the United Kingdom, not the United States, guns are legal in America! If they wanna carry on shooting up each-other that is theirs and Barrack Obama’s Business! Why are we copying them? Guns are illiagal in this country…. It needs to stop!

Bloods and Cripps, East coast V West coast! Another American ghetto tradition….
But were Not American so what do we do? We create Endz South London Vs East London, etc…

What kind of foolishness is that!?  We all live within a few miles of each-other for god’s sake; were practically fighting our neighbours!

The worst thing is, this will probably never stop until America does… or until we fix-up as a community. But I really don’t see that happening… I just hope I live to see the day that when someone picks up a knife and…. It’s only to butter a piece of bread!
