Big Brother’s ‘agressive and intimidating’ Alex blogs for The Voice

Greetings to all and a warm welcome to this my very first blog for the voice, which I must say I’m extremely excited about.

Some of you may already know, or think you know things about me, like where I come from, what I’m about, where I’m going etc.. from things you may have read in the press following my 13 day stint on Big Brother last year.

However, my main objective with this blog, is to show you the true me and let u make up your minds for yourselves!

The truth is I am the youngest of four girls, my mother raised us by herself working two jobs to provide for us.

I fell pregnant at the age of 16 which is a topic you’ll hear me talk about later on in my blogs (teen pregnancies) a topic very dear to me.

Anyway so I begin full time employment at 19 and by the time I was 22 I had worked my way up to an accounts executive, earning good money, with great perks like company car, mobile phone, laptop etc.

At 23 I decided to try something new, so I audition for channel 4’s Big Brother in the hope of becoming famous.

Ok, so it’s May 2008 and I’ve just been told I’m going into hiding to become a housemate.

I don’t even think I believed them at this point, but never the less I went on into hiding and 17 days later I was made a housemate on June 5 2008.

Some would argue I was made ‘the housemate!’ Lol. I spent 13 days on BB and as we all know, I was removed for aggressive, intimidating behavior, which I always thought was a cop out.

Since BB my life has more or less become a stage for one drama after another, some good, some bad, but the bottom line is the whole experience has made me stronger

I’m not regretful I took steps to become more than just average, if anything I’m thankful to god for continuously creating opportunities for me and I’m hopeful things will carry on this way throughout my life
