Whats The Play? With Anthony 'Play' Douglas

CELEBRATIONS: From left - Mr. Play with boxer Isaac Chamberlain

I'M BACK from the beautiful Jamaican sunshine to a grey, mostly drizzly London and struggling from serious jet-lag... *sigh*!

So, Drake dropped the album More Life last week. I ain't really feeling it to be honest, but I do love the fact that he has UK and South African artists on the album. It's a great look for the scene, movement, artists and culture.

Rick Ross also dropped his album Rather You Than Me. I've listened to it a few times, and Rick had a lot to get off his chest. He shared his thoughts on Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj and spoke his mind about Cash Money CEO - Birdman. I'm wondering what Birdman's response is going to be? Will he ask Ross to put some respect on his name? Who knows, but I'm sure we will find out soon enough.

It was nice to see fellow Brixtonian Isaac Chamberlain win his 7th professional fight at the home of boxing York Hall at the weekend. He fought 6ft 8½" Lithuanian Davidaitis and won in a 3rd round stoppage. The stars definitely came out to see Chamberlain handle his business and it was nice to see the likes of Ellie Goulding show their support for rising star and Brixton boy Chamberlain.
