Wakanda in Waterloo: Join the Afro Hair Care Revolution

HAIRCARE: Hair Care Revolution are holding an afro hair and beauty pop-up experience like no other

ARE YOU ready to experience Wakanda in Waterloo? Calling all women of colour, it’s time to get next generation hair and beauty information and join the “hair care revolution”. A group of innovative Afro hair and beauty professionals have come together with the aim of revolutionising the afro hair and beauty industries and they’re inviting you to their Hair Care Revolution pop-up event on Saturday 28 April, to show you how.

The purpose of Hair Care Revolution is simple, address the imbalance of power in the black hair and beauty industries and put the power back in the hands of those who actually use the products. With a strong social mobility ethos, Hair Care Revolution, which launched last year, is spreading its message of empowerment and development for black-owned hair businesses through a series of pop-up events. The next pop-up will be at Living Space, Waterloo, on Saturday 28th April, between 11am-7pm.

With many successful event already under their belt, the upcoming Wakanda In Waterloo Hair Care Revolution pop-up promises to be an educational celebration of all things afro hair, beauty and fashion.

There will be exciting seminars, workshops and masterclasses on how to sell hair/beauty products presented by some of the best in the business. Prominent speakers include Xsandy’s founder, Sandra Pinnock, expert international hair styling techniques legend Derick De Clements, who will be giving a talk and workshop on the latest styling trends, and top stylists from London’s well-known Adornment 365 hair salon, delivering a session on “The secrets of treating locs and natural hair” alongside our resident trichologist Stephanie Sey.

The theme for this special occasion will appropriately represent the best emerging hair, beauty and fashion brands the UK has to offer.

Add expert sessions on makeup for darker skin tones from a well-known vlogger, and the science of black hair, and you get the picture – this event is not one to miss.
