Usain Bolt's Olympic gold medal has been taken away

TRIBULATIONS: Usain Bolt was in celebration mode when this photo was taken at the Olympic Games in Rio last year

IN A shock move, Usain Bolt has had his 2008 Olympic gold medal taken away because of running mate Nesta Carter's suspected substance abuse.

Carter tested positively during a test for the presence of banned substances, which means that he, along with the other three members of the Jamaican relay team - Bolt, Asafa Powell and Michael Frater - have had their 2008 gold medals removed as the legitimacy of the entire team's performance comes into question automatically.

'Lightening Bolt' has been left with eight other gold medals, whilst Carter has been banned completely.

The fastest man alive also weathered Olympic controversy in 2016 after a local woman posted pictures of herself and the already attached Bolt in bed together after a drunken night of partying.
