T-Boz files for bankruptcy

MONEY ISSUES: Singer Tionne 'T-Boz' Watkins is filing bankruptcy

TIONNE 'T-BOZ' Watkins has filed for bankruptcy after failing to pay off her creditors, it has been reported.

The former lead singer of popular R'n'B group TLC filed bankruptcy papers in a US court last month, which state that the singer owes over $750,000 in mortgage payments on her multi-million house, according to American gossip site TMZ.

Watkins, who has one child with rapper Mack-10, is said to receive $11,700 per month, but pays out $8,000 of it in monthly expenses.

It is also alleged that despite being one third of one of the world's biggest selling female groups, Watkins earns just $1,200 a month in royalties.

Her former band mates, the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, also filed bankruptcy in late 90s.
