Schoolgirl killed by a lorry in Streatham identified

KILLED: Hane Haji

A SCHOOLGIRL who was killed following a collision with a lorry in south London has been identified as 11-year-old Hane Haji.

Hane, from Streatham, suffered serious head injuries when she was hit on the South Circular at Streatham Place at around 3.20pm on Tuesday afternoon (May 14). She died later in hospital.

A post-mortem examination has not yet taken place.

The driver of the lorry stopped at the scene. He was not arrested.

Police are investigating the crash and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
