Rihanna's new Puma trainers sell out in just three hours

SNEAKER LIFE: Rihanna models the Puma Creepers alongside her reported boyfriend rapper Travis Scott

EIGHT MONTHS after singer Rihanna was announced as Puma's new creative director, she has finally dropped her first collection with the sports brand.

And proving that 'Rihanna sells', the creeper-style trainers sold out within hours.

It wasn’t quite FourFiveSeconds, but the sell-out time for Rihanna’s new Puma collaboration is still pretty impressive.

According to the singer, the pre-orders for her $120 (£78) 'Fenty' kicks, which went live yesterday (Sept 14), sold out entirely in just three hours.

She announced the news on an Instagram with a snap of her toddler niece, Majesty, carrying a handbag, with the caption: “When they told me #THECREEPER sold out in 3 hours….catch you on the 25th if you missed it!”

For those who didn’t make the pre-sale and are eager to get their feet in a pair of Fenty trainers, they will be publicly released on September 25, and available in two colours.

On the Puma website, Rihanna said: "I am so excited to finally introduce the Puma Creeper to the world. Partnering with Puma has given me the opportunity to create pieces that are unique and unexpected. I really wanted to dig into their archive and give classic silhouettes my own spin. The Puma Creeper is just that."
