Rihanna shines bright at her first annual charity ball

STUNNING: Singer Rihanna founded The Clara Lionel Foundation two years ago

SINGER RIHANNA dressed to impress as she hosted her first annual Diamond Ball in Beverly Hills, California, yesterday (Dec 11).

The 26-year-old entertainer’s event benefits The Clara Lionel Foundation, which she founded in 2012, in honour of her grandparents Clara and Lionel Brathwaite.

The foundation works to improve the quality of life for communities globally in the areas of health, education, arts, and culture.

The star-studded night was the 26-year-old singer's first-ever Annual Diamond Ball.

The biggest names in the film, television and music industry were in attendance, including Actors Brad Pitt and Tyrese Gibson, Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Ne-Yo, Fabulous and Big Sean.

Rihanna's family were also in attendance including her brothers, aunt, mum (left) and grandfather (centre)

“Feel so lucky to have an evening like this, to spend with people with hearts like mine, who want to change and save lives at any cost!” the Diamonds singer tweeted.

“There’s so much to do, and I can’t do it all by myself, so I have to thank all of the supporters of and people who donated to #TheClaraLionelFoundation Looking forward to seeing you later this evening.”
