Reggae Fraternity UK to honour British Reggae legacy

CELEBRATION: Reggae Fraternity UK (RFUK)

LEGACY IS something that is handed down from one generation to the next, and Reggae Fraternity UK (RFUK) are honouring our British Reggae legacy, with a night of good music and celebration.

On Sunday 26 November 2017, RFUK are staging a fantastic show called 'Legacy' which will feature the Crème de la crème of high profile reggae artists…and their children!

The aim is to facilitate and showcase the Reggae talent in the UK and to ensure that the genre lives on. From Lovers Rock to Dancehall, we have done it all.

UK acts have been monumental in the development of the reggae scene worldwide, and it’s time to ‘pass on the baton’ and shine the light in our own back garden.

Live performances on the night will include:
SYLVIA TELLA
DENNIS BOVELL
KOFI
DONNA MICHAEL
DENNIS PINNOCK
CASSANDRA LONDON
DARIEN PROPHECY

Featuring children of the reggae greats include:
MARLA BROWN (Daughter of Dennis Brown) LOV’ELLIS (Daughter of Alton Ellis)
JO CAESAR (Daughter of Levi Roots)

Also featuring joint parents-children performances are:
RICHIE DAVIS AND SON ADRIAN
LORNA GEE & SON NATHAN
WINSOME & DAUGHTER MONIQUE

Each of these offsprings are excelling in their own right, so why not make a big deal of it!

The performances will all backed by the RFUK Premier band and supported by the dynamic trio TRUE IDENTITY.

The show will also feature some of Britain’s hottest, rising talent:
SUBAJAH
CAROLENE THOMPSON
KYA SH’KWAIN
LYN GERALD
LIONESS FONTS
SPARKY RUGGED
SESE FOSTER
NAIROBI THOMPSON

There will also be some theatrical narration, comedians DONNA SPENCE and CURTIS WALKER will make an appearance and plenty of surprises

Keeping the party vibes flowing are DJ’s MISTA STYLEE & LADY TLC
