Rapper B.O.B wants your help to prove the earth is flat

B.O.B HAS started a crowdfunding campaign to help launch satellites into space to find evidence that the Earth is actually flat, the Evening Standard reports.

The US rapper has called on his fans to help fund the mission to prove his belief that the earth isn't round. He is a firm believer in the Flat Earth Theory which claims the Earth is not spherical and that NASA guards the edges to prevent people from falling off.

The 28-year-old, who has referred to himself as ‘Flat Earth Bob’, is seeking $200,000 on his GoFundMe page to send “one if not multiple satellites into space”.

In a video explaining his reasons for the Go Fund Me page, B.O.B said: “I’m starting this GoFundMe because I would like to send one if not multiple satellites as far into space as I can or into orbit to find the curve. I’m really looking for the curve.”

The Nothin’ On You rapper has so far raised $676 of his target.

This isn't the first time B.O.B has shared his beliefs on Flat Earth theory. In 2016, the rapper got involved in a Twitter row with astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson after challenging the evidence suggesting the Earth is round.

He tweeted: “The cities in the background are approx. 16miles apart... where is the curve ? please explain this.”

Tyson replied: “Earth's curve indeed blocks 150 (not 170) ft of Manhattan. But most buildings in midtown are waaay taller than that.”
