FRIENDSHIP FACTOR: Muhammad Ali with former US president Bill Clinton
FORMER US president Bill Clinton will give a eulogy at Muhammad Ali's funeral following a posthumous request from the former heavyweight world champion.
The interfaith service, which was personally planned in detail by Ali before he died, will be led by an imam but will also include representatives of other faiths including Mormonism.
It will take place in Louisville, Kentucky, Ali's home town, on Friday.
Ali died of "septic shock due to unspecified natural causes", his family has said.
The three-time world heavyweight champion - one of the world's greatest sporting figures - died on Friday night at a hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.
The 74-year-old had been suffering from a respiratory illness, a condition that was complicated by Parkinson's disease.
