Officers appealing to identify collapsed man

MISSING: Unidentified man

DETECTIVES APPEALING for help from the public to identify a man who collapsed in Camden have released a new photo in the hope that someone will recognise him.

At around 4.30pm on Tuesday, 26 December, the man pictured collapsed outside University College Hospital.

He had suffered a heart attack and remains in an induced coma. Medical professionals have described his condition as stable.

When found, he was not carrying any identification and due to his poor state of health, police are keen to trace his family as soon as possible.

The new photograph of the man shows him clean shaven and officers urge anyone who recognises him to contact police without delay.

He is of light skinned black or Asian origin and it is possible that he may be homeless.

Detective Constable Tom Boon, from the Central North Command Unit’s Missing Person Unit, said: "It is almost a month since this man was found collapsed outside University College Hospital and we are still trying to trace his next of kin.

"We hope that by releasing this new photo, someone may recognise him and come forward."

Anyone who can assist in identifying this man should call the Central North Command Unit’s Missing Person Unit by calling 0208 733 6543 or 101.
