Massa furious over incident with Hamilton

FERRARI’S FELIPE Massa was incensed with Lewis Hamilton after the Formula One racers collided at the Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday (September 25).

The 26-year-old Hamilton was penalised for colliding into the back of Massa on lap 10, which resulted in Massa receiving a right rear puncture and Hamilton’s McLaren having a damaged front wing.

During a post-race interview an angry Massa, 30, interrupts and firmly slaps Hamilton on the shoulder before sarcastically saying: “Good job, bro”.

Hamilton and Massa previously tangled at the Monaco Grand Prix in May and almost locked horns on Saturday during qualifying. A disgruntled Massa further expressed his frustrations with Hamilton.

The night-time race at the Marina Bay was won by Red Bull Racing’s Sebastian Vettel. Hamilton finished fifth with Massa crossing the checkered flag in ninth.

Vettel now only needs one point from the remaining five races to retain his world championship.
