Man with broken leg missing in central London

MISSING: Ernest Sakyi

A MAN who has a fractured leg and was being treated at a central London hospital has been reported as missing.

Ernes Sakyi, 24, was last seen at about 7pm on October 1 in the area of Praed Street and Edgeware Road, central London.

He had earlier attended St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington for treatment for his fractured leg, and was seen leaving the premises at about 3pm.

Police said they do not believe he has a travel pass or phone with him.

He is described as “a black man with short, dark hair.”

The force added: “He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, white t-shirt with three-quarter length jeans and black trainers.”

According to authorities, Sakyi “suffers from a brain condition and has trouble communicating with other people; he also struggles to identify when he is thirsty or hungry.”

Anyone who has seen Mr Sakyi or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call Westminster CID on 07500 766 464.
