Ladies Day set to be a winner!

HAPPY: Samuels (left) with business partner Bryan

THE TWO ambitious businesswomen behind the Jamaica 50th Celebrations at Royal Ascot have told the Voice of Sport of their excitement.

MarMar & Associates, made up of Marcia Samuels and Maria Bryan, have secured the course’s prestigious Trackside Lounge on Ladies Day (June 21) which will play host to a plethora of Jamaican and Caribbean dignitaries as well as a number of high profile Jamaicans, friends of Jamaica and other celebrities.

A delighted Bryan said: “We have reached the point where official agreement enables us to move forward with Jamaica 50th Celebrations at Royal Ascot.

“People can now share this once in a lifetime opportunity and we are happy to have achieved this milestone.”

There are few sporting venues that can match the rich heritage and history of Ascot Racecourse.

For almost 250 years, the meeting has established itself as a national institution and the centrepiece of the British social calendar as well as being the ultimate stage for the best racehorses in the world.

Tradition, pageantry, fashion and style all meet in a glorious setting at one of the most beautiful racecourses in the country.

Samuels added: “Both Maria and I over the past months have been visiting Ascot and it is an experience we would like everyone to share, especially the luxury and hospitality.

“Our relationship with Ascot is a productive one and also a learning experience into doing business with the royal family’s representative. Jamaica has been welcomed and they are very excited to have us.

“Personally we have spent what seems like a liftetime over the last six months securing – at great financial cost – perfection for the occasion and we are now looking for thousands of Jamaicans, and others across the globe, to join us on this special occasion.”
