Jennifer Hudson serenades Obama

BIRTHDAY SONG: Jennifer Hudson serenades the President

THE SEDUCTIVE rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’ purred out by Marilyn Monroe to the President, John F Kennedy in 1962, ceases to be forgotten and last night (Aug 4) Jennifer Hudson channelled her inner Monroe to sing the song to President Obama.

Dressed in a glamorous black number, that showed off her new svelte figure, with heels and striking red lipstick, the 29-year-old Oscar-winning actress and singer, made quite an impression during the performance at the Democratic Party Fundraiser in Chicago.

President Obama, who turned 50 yesterdat, beamed with delight and went on stage to embrace and thank an overwhelmed Miss Hudson.

Tickets for the fundraising dinner cost a whopping $35,000 per person and those that gained entry to the concert with limited seating were given premium seats in exchange for $1,000 donations.
