ONLINE ABUSE: Former singer and Loose Women presenter Jamelia (centre) has received rude messages over Twiter

LOOSE WOMEN host and former singer Jamelia has slammed online trolls for sending her threats and racist abuse on Twitter.

The British beauty has admitted that she's been left emotionally shaken and scared for her own safety after being targeted by "vile" online bullies.

On Twitter, she said: "I'm Falling out of love with Twitter. I love that I get to connect with a lot of kind hearted, lovely people but the amount of vile comments I've received recently just makes me question if it's all worth it."

The mother-of-two continued: "I woke up so happy this morning...only to come on Twitter and see someone telling me they want to slam me in my head...suffice to say...

"My mood changed, I got upset, I was confused and even felt a little scared. Someone I don't know hates me like that? Wants to attack me??"

The 34-year-old television star, who appeared on the Loose Women panel for the first time in November 2013 went on to reveal the number of hurtful vicious names she has been called.

"This week alone I've been called a n****r, a b****, a sl*t, a sl*g, an idiot, a moron...& while of course I know I am none of these things..

"..it still f*****g hurts. I don't agree this comes with the territory, I don't believe this is ok, and I certainly should not be allowing people I don't even to hurt me in this way."
