BVSC is the Lead and Accountable body for three of the Big Lottery Fund’s Fulfilling Lives programmes, Talent Match, Ageing Better and Birmingham Changing Futures Together.

Talent Match seeks to support young unemployed disadvantaged people aged between 18 and 24 years. Ageing Better aims to help reduce social isolation amongst older people in Birmingham. Birmingham Changing Futures Together works with service users and organisations to shape how services are delivered to vulnerable people.

We are currently recruiting for the following roles:

Transition and Diversion Worker
(Birmingham Changing Futures Together)
Based at 138 Digbeth, Birmingham, B5 6DR
£20,253 to £22,212 per annum
The successful candidate will assist beneficiaries with multiple and complex needs to integrate back into their community and help them access local services.
They will work with local community agencies to facilitate positive change for service users and work towards achieving a fulfilling life. Forging positive and effective links and working relationships with external services and agencies and identify key contacts.

Beyond The Basics Worker
(Birmingham Changing Futures Together)
£22,937 to £24,472 per annum
35 hours per week
Based at 138 Digbeth, Birmingham, B5 6DR
The successful candidate will assist beneficiaries with multiple and complex needs to integrate back into their community and to access local services. You will have an understanding of the experience of adults with multiple and complex needs and experience of working with Partnerships. You will have an understanding and awareness of Coaching methods and practices. To succeed in this role the successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills.

Administration Officer
Part-time - 21 hours per week

12 Months Fixed Term Contract
£16, 231 to £17, 372 per annum (pro rata)
We are looking for an experienced administrator with high level customer service skills. You will have excellent I.T. and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.

Project Support Assistant
(Birmingham Changing Futures Together)
£15,207 to £15,941 per annum
Based at 138 Digbeth, Birmingham, B5 6DR
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has lived experience of at least two multiple needs (Homelessness, Addiction, Re-offending or Mental Health issues). Have you now achieved a stable life and would like to further develop your skills in an office environment? We are looking for an individual with good interpersonal and communication skills who is also IT proficient.
