Graduate Fashion Week showcases the best of the UK

EXTRAVAGANZA: Graduate Fashion Week 2017

GRADUATE FASHION WEEK wrapped up yesterday (June 8) and celebrated the best that UK students had to offer.

At a blockbuster showcase, which provided a spectacular four-day extravaganza at East London's Truman Brewery, a range of 68 universities across the UK including Nottingham Trent to Birmingham City put on a diverse mix of fashion for revellers to gawk at.

University of East London (UEL) were one of the stand out shows over the four days, with a selection of leather-clad designs that walked down the runway, accessorised with lace up boots, studded chokers and bad ass biker jackets.

Bath Spa University debuted an ultra-feminine collection this year. Designed by Bath Spa Uni student, Nicole Duse-Anthony, the whimsical designs lit up the runway with a collection filled with frills, ruffles and a luxurious pastel colour palette.

Showing that bold colours is definitely what's hot right now, DMU Leicester debuted a creative collection that is sure to get you ready for the summer. Sheer skirts, light layering and ruffle tiers were clearly a prominent theme throughout.

Bringing menswear to the forefront, Northumbria University put together some streetwear-inspired looks for their collection, showing some relaxed fits for the everyday man.
