Girl, 12, missing from Chiswick

APPEAL: Deqo Arahey

POLICE ARE growing increasingly concerned for the safety of a missing 12-year-old girl.

Deqo Arahey was last seen on May 5 at around 4pm in the Chiswick/Brentford area in west London.

The schoolgirl, of Somalian heritage, is approximately 5' 8" tall and of athletic build.

She was last seen wearing a leopard print head scarf (with her face showing) and a black leather jacket with grey sweatshirt (arms and hood), brown chino type trousers and white flip-flops.

Deqo has a pink/red costume jewellery ring on her left hand and was carrying a white shoulder bag with a gold chain strap.

Her hair is normally worn up, but if it is down it is shoulder length.

Police are concerned as it is uncharacteristic for Deqo not to return home.
