Fugees video director gets nearly 100 years for incest

SHAME: Aswad Ayinde hides his face with a paper document as he is sentenced (PA)

AN AWARD-WINNING American music director has been given 90 years behind bars for fathering six children with his own daughters.

In the second of five trials for Aswad Ayinde, he was found guilty of raping his second daughter from the age as eight years old, and fathered four children with her.

The sexual assaults happened for almost 30 years until 55-year-old and his wife separated, officials said.

Ayinde, from Paterson, New Jersey, wanted to create a “pure family blood line” to survive the apocalypse, it was revealed during the first trial.

Sentenced to 50 years in prison on Friday, Ayinde was also given a previous 40 year term in 2011 for sexually assaulting a separate daughter.

The music director is best known for making the video for the Fugees 1996 breakout hit Killing Me Softly, which won Best R&B Video at the MTV Music Video Awards that year.

He has 12 additional children with an additional three women, according to court records, and faces three more trials over alleged assaults.
