Eddie Murphy: 'I'm going to be the worst host ever'

HOST: Eddie Murphy's feeling the pressure ahead of next year's Oscars

EDDIE MURPHY has asked the public to lower their expectations of him ahead of the Oscars next year.

The funny man, who will host the star-studded event on Feb 26, says he finds it funny that people think he's the right person for the job.

"I'm going to be horrendous. I'm going to be the worst host ever," the 50-year-old told Entertainment Tonight

"It's just going to be me introducing people and looking straight at the camera."

"And I'm going to wear a powdered sky-blue tuxedo, and at the end of the evening, I'm going to urinate on myself in front of a billion people. Just letting you know - the worst host ever," he warned.

In 2007 the father of eight left the ceremony early after losing out on the Best Supporting Actor award for his role in 2006 film, Dreamgirls.

"I'm looking forward to doing it and I promise I'll stay there all night," he promised.
