ED SHEERAN has donated £20,000 to Fuse ODG's crowdfunding campaign called #NanaNeedsASchool to raise £250,000 in 6 weeks to build a secondary school in Ghana.

In 2010, Fuse and and the rest of the team at ODG Records teamed up with local charity Wood World Mission to build a primary school in Akosombo in Ghana. Over the years, the school has made an incredible impact on not just the students that attend, but the broader community.

The first cohort of students should be starting secondary school in September, but the nearest secondary school is miles away and most families are not able to afford the school fees.

As a result, Fuse is looking to do something about this by raising £250,000 to build a school for the start of the new academic year in September 2017 – with a generous donation from good friend Sheeran so far.
