HIP-HOP legend Dr. Dre made a rare appearance on stage at Anderson .Paak's free gig in Brixton, south London.

The Beats by Dre founder drove fans wild when appearing on stage, and he performed two of his hit tracks - Still D.R.E. and The Next Episode.

It was his first UK performance since 2014, when he joined Eminem for his dates at Wembley Stadium.

According to BBC News, Dre said he'd come to Brixton's O2 Academy "to present and represent." He added: "This man right here [Dre] is destined to be a star. Trust me."

The show, which was filmed for Apple Music, saw .Paak perform a 60-minute set, featuring live performances of some of his hits.

The 32-year-old multi-instrumentalist, who headlined the one-night only show, said of his mentor: “It’s dope to be around like legends like that and you can feel the mutual respect. That’s what I always did it for, I wasn’t really thinking about money or fame, I just wanted the respect from the people I look up to musically."
