Chic to top stellar line-up for Liverpool Music Week

NOW IN it's 15th year, Liverpool Music Week has confirmed a stellar line-up, including reggae vocalist Dawn Penn, ‘70s band Chic, all-round legend Nile Rodgers, American teen rapper Princess Nokia and many more acts.

Taking place from October 26 - November 4, the festival's opening party headliners will be Chic, responsible for classics such as Good Times, and Rodgers, who will kick off proceedings on October 26 at the Liverpool Echo Arena.

London net-soul outfit Jungle will appear on November 1 at Invisible Wind Factory, and the following evening Princess Nokia will attract fans to the venue.

A fusion of Japanese pop and dancehall from Kero Kero Bonito will offer crowds a set full of eclectic sounds on October 28 at Heebie Jeebies.

Liverpool Music Week was named Best Metropolitan Festival at the UK Festival Awards 2016 and has previously brought world-famous acts Grandmaster Flash and Florence and the Machine to the northern city.
