SOME OF the commonalities amongst black fashion buyers are the need to adjust and re-adjust clothes bought from high street brands. Many people prefer to buy bigger sizes so they can feel comfortable.

In May 2017, the CEO and creative designer of Y-Perfecto, Yvonne Ayegbeni came up with the revolutionary BTB Model to really get black or curvy people excited about perfect fitting fashion again.

Yvonne Ayegbeni, is one lady that was born into fitness and grew up loving fashion. Her father is Kadiri Ikhana, a famous Nigerian footballer and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) coach of the year 2003, who taught her to love herself and keep fit.

Being a Daddy’s girl, she grew up and married Yakubu Ayegbeni, a Nigerian striker who had his most successful spell during his time in England, scoring 95 Premier League goals, more than any Nigerian footballer.

Yakubu’s first club in England is Portsmouth which he joined in 2003 before playing for Middlesbrough, Everton and Blackburn Rovers. He has also played for other clubs in England, like Leicester City Football Club, Reading Football Club, Coventry City, etc.

Being surrounded by these strong male figures, Yvonne stands strong and shoulder to shoulder in a competitive world.

One of her goals is to give back to her community and for this reason, Y-perfecto is based in the UK she makes all her clothes back in Africa, Nigeria to be precise.

Perfecto’s uniqueness comes in the finishing, presentation and fitting. Most of our designs are crafted using African print.
