THOUGHT LEADER: Professor Paul Miller

THE CARIBBEAN Community, or CARICOM, has put together the Technical Working Group (TWG) in order to drive best practice for incorporating the latest technology into higher education lecturing across the Caribbean.

Professor Paul Miller, based at Huddersfield University, is the only TWG member from the UK to lend his experience to the project and will con- tribute to fresh academic and technical policy in the region.

Jamaican-born Professor Miller said that the invitation to join the TWG as its International Expert Member came “out of the blue”.

Professor Miller is well-equipped for the role, as the author of research and books on Caribbean educational issues. In addition, he was editor of Research in Comparative & International Education dealing with education for all in the Caribbean.
