Canaries allegedly sign Spurs centre back

DEPARTURE: Bassong

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR defender Sebastien Bassong has reportedly rejoined his former boss at Norwich City.

The Cameroon international played under Canaries manager Chris Hughton at Newcastle United in 2008 before signing for Tottenham for £8m in 2009.

However, the 26-year-old – who spent the majority of last season on loan to Wolverhampton Wanderers - is no longer guaranteed to start every fixture and, according to Sky Sports, has left White Hart Lane for Carrow Road.

During his tenure at Spurs, Bassong made 88 appearances.
