Bobbi Kristina's family 'told to say last goodbye'

LIFE SUPPORT: Bobbi Kristina

THE FAMILY of Bobbi Kristina have been told to say their last goodbyes to the 21-year-old who has been in a medicallt-induced coma since she was found face down in a bath on Saturday (Jan 31), it has been reported.

According to TMZ, doctors have told her father, R&B singer Bobby Brown to turn off his only daughter's life support machine.

But Brown, who celebrates his birthday today (Feb 5), is apparently refusing to make the decision and has instead opted to see if she makes any progress by the weekend.

"We're told Brown has been hopeful his daughter can beat the odds because someone in his extended family battled out of a coma after 8 days," the gossip website writes.

The 21-year-old was moved to Emory University Hospital on Tuesday (Feb 3) because the facility has a world class neurological department, but it appears doctors have determined there's no hope.

Bobbi Kristina, who was found in chillingly similar conditions to her late mother Whitney Houston, was discovered by her husband and friend in her Atlanta home at around 10.25am local time.

Rescue personnel and performed "life-saving measures" before Brown was brought to the nearby North Fulton Hospital.

The incident came less than two weeks before the third anniversary of her mother's death on February 11, 2012.

Houston was found submerged in a bathtub in a Beverly Hills, California, hotel. She was later pronounced dead.

The 48-year-old singer is said to have died from a combination of Xanax and other prescription drugs, which had been mixed with alcohol.
