Anton Ferdinand breaks silence

COMMENTS: QPR's Anton Ferdinand finally breaks his silence over allegations he was called a 'black c**t' by fellow footballer John Terry during a match last Sunday (Oct 23)

FOOTBALLER ANTON Ferdinand has finally broken his silence following claims that fellow footballer John Terry called him a "f**king black c**t" during a recent match.

The Queens Park Rangers' defender, who hasn't spoken since last Sunday's match (Oct 23) against Chelsea, told The Telegraph that "the last few days have been crazy" and said he was looking forward to returning to his normal life.

"I'm looking forward to Sunday's game [against Tottenham] and fully focused on football. Anyone who knows me will know that whatever's going on, football's always going to be my number one priority," he went on.

Although the incident caused a huge media storm, with many, including the footballer's cousin Les Ferdinand calling for action against the England captain, Anton is said to have refused to talk about the incident in depth.

"Has it been the craziest week of my life? There's been other situations, but it's certainly up there. But these types of situations are what make you," he revealed.

It is believed that both the Football Association and the Metropolitan Police are investigating the alleged incident.
