Adele wants to remix Drake’s Hotline Bling

MUTUAL FANS: Drake and Adele

ADELE HAS revealed that she is keen to get in the studio with Canadian rapper Drake to remix his infectious track Hotline Bling.

"I really want us to do an official remix," Adele said on eTalk, a popular Canadian entertainment show. "I love Drake. I love Drake so much."

The powerhouse singer, who is on the verge of smashing the record for the most albums sold in a week after releasing her third studio album, 25, on Friday (Nov 20), also admitted that she recently attempted to recreate Drake’s trending dance moves after a night with friends.

She said: "I had a drink like three weeks ago [with] my best friends - in fact, it was to celebrate [the release of] Hello (the first single from her new album).

“I was off my face because I don't really drink anymore, and they've got video of me dancing to it on a coffee table as well.”

The 27-year-old, who welcomed a son during her musical hiatus, has also bought the highly sought after cherry red Moncler coat that Drake sports in the popular video.

She said: “I even got the coat that's in the video. I got it delivered the other day, I ordered it. The red one.”

The French-Italian apparel manufacturer and lifestyle brand recorded a spike in sales for the $1,150 coat following the release of the viral video.

The admiration would appear to be mutual as the 29-year-old rapper took to Instagram on Saturday (Nov 21) to post an illustration of himself with the Hello singer along with the caption “Me and my main ting just coolin.”

Notably, Justin Bieber released a well-received cover of the popular tune, while Sam Smith and Disclosure also created their own version.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, meanwhile, performed a comical version of the song on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, as did former boxer Mike Tyson.
