Acclaimed dance group introduce street dancing into UK gyms

NEW CHALLENGE: Dance group Diversity

BRITAIN’S GOT Talent winners Diversity has introduced their own street dance class at Fitness First centres across the UK.

The street dancing group’s ‘Diversity Street Dance’ was inaugurated at Old Spitalfields Market, east London.

The programme is aimed at getting people of all ages and abilities to participate in street dancing.

Head choreographer Ashley Banjo said: “The idea is for people to have fun, gain an insight into a different style of dance and learn how to put a routine together. All this as well as getting fit at the same time.”

Diversity Street Dance involves a combination of street dance moves and traditional fitness.

“We’ve amended the routines and added in more complex steps to challenge anyone who is an experienced dancer so hopefully there should be something in there for everyone no matter what level they are,” the Got to Dance Judge said.
