‘Misha B won’t win the X Factor’

SET UPON: Gina Yashere says X Factor contestant Misha B won't win the show

GINA YASHERE says that she doesn’t believe X Factor’s Misha B will win the ITV 1 show because she’s too black.

The British-born comedienne, who now resides in Los Angeles, admits that while she’s a fan of the talented 19-year-old, she thinks it’s highly unlikely she’ll reach the final.

“If there was any justice in the world she would win, but there isn’t. She’s not Leona Lewis, all light-skinned and pretty. She’s black and she’s big. She’s a combination of Missy Elliot, Nikki Minaj and Grace Jones - she’s too out there,” Yashere told The Voice.

Referring to last week’s show - which saw the Manchester-born singer facing elimination after rival judge, N-Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos, claimed she had bullied fellow contestants the previous week - Yashere believes the singer is being unfairly set upon.

“Do you see how they drip out negative information about her, she’s a bully. I knew she would be in the bottom two.

“Tulisa messed her up! Why would you say that out on live TV and not think that would affect her popularity,” she said.

REAL TALK: Comedienne Gina Yashere says the 19-year-old has been unfairly targeted

Although she admits that she’s quite pessimistic about the singer’s future in the competition, Yashere, who is currently on tour in the UK, says she only watches the show for Misha B’s performances.

“I love her, I think she’s amazing, she is head and shoulders above the rest of them she is already a complete package and they hate her for it!” She said.

“I’ve got no doubt she’s most probably a big diva, but so what if you’re super talented, good at what you do and you’re the best! What’s wrong with knowing you’re the best? Everybody knows she’s the best, it’s obvious,” she added.
